Berlin: Shiur @Fraenkelufer Synagoge

May 13, 2023 @ 12:30 - 14:30

Have you ever heard people saying that sex is a Mitzvah?

And assumed Judaism must therefore be entirely sexpositive? Or have you learned that sexual urges actually come from the Yetzer HaRa (The evil impulse)? And assumed the opposite?

Let’s explore what Judaism and science have to say about issues surrounding sexuality.

We will examine, analyze and openly discuss different texts on sexuality and discuss it also scientifically.

This series connects knowledge from the fields of sexology and Jewish studies and will be conducted by Eden Kosman and Rebecca Rogowski.

Eden is a psychologist from Cologne, Germany with a counseling practice in Berlin-Charlottenburg and Prenzlauer Berg. She studied Jewish studies and comprehensive literature at FU-Berlin and is an Alumna of the experiential education program of Pardes institute of Jewish Studies in Jerusalem.
